“The N. Johnson Foundation was born from pain, healing, and purpose—and built on the belief that every child deserves the chance to thrive.”
The N. Johnson Foundation is a community-driven organization dedicated to supporting students and their families in overcoming financial and emotional hardships. Co-founded by Mrs. Nicole Johnson, MHA, and Ms. Monica Stuart, Attorney-at-Law, the Foundation is grounded in a shared commitment to educational equity, mental wellness, and family empowerment.
Mrs. Johnson and Ms. Stuart established the Foundation with a united vision: to foster environments—both at home and in school—where children feel confident, supported, and empowered. Their leadership reflects a lifelong dedication to advocacy, service, and dismantling the barriers that prevent children from reaching their full potential.
But for Nicole, this mission is also deeply personal.
“I created The N. Johnson Foundation because I know what it means to overcome.”I am not a licensed therapist—but I’ve lived the healing journey. I’ve experienced teenage pregnancy. I’ve faced exploitation. I’ve carried trauma that many young girls, especially in Belize, are still silently battling today. My life taught me how to cope. It taught me how to set boundaries, how to love myself, and how to rebuild a future from brokenness. This foundation is a promise to the child I once was—and to every child and family that deserves support and a chance to heal.
Today, The N. Johnson Foundation extends its reach from Arizona to Belize, offering:
School supplies and academic support
Mental health toolkits for students and parents
Workshops focused on boundary-setting and emotional wellness
Emergency financial relief for families in crisis
In Belize specifically, the Foundation works to bridge the gap of mental health stigma by delivering school-based workshops that provide students and parents with tools for healthier communication, emotional literacy, and resilience.
"We don’t just serve—we listen, we empower, and we walk alongside families as they create safe, thriving environments for their children.”
